If You Can Read This…

Today, I received a couple of negative comments from two people regarding a reblog I posted of a person’s hand with “If You Can Read This, Somebody Stole My iPhone” written on the palm of the hand.  The comments received were,“If you can read this, he’s pinched it off b3ta.com” and “Stolen from B3ta, very creative!”

I quickly grew angry, as I have never used someone else’s idea and called it mine.  Since it was never my intention to steal or leverage someone elses work in that way (keep in mind that it was a reblog from another blog site), I decided to remove the reblog post.  In response to those comments,  I posted a blog titled “If You Can Read This…“  This blog can be found at, http://dwjauthor.tumblr.com/post/128419902/if-you-can-read-this. 

Did I make an incorrect assumption as to whom those comments were directed.  Maybe they were directed at me, maybe they were directed at the person who did the picture in the first place…don’t know, don’t care.  They’re still idiots.
