Yeah, That Was Embarrassing

So I had this meeting, with people from our office in Sydney Australia.  I arrived at the conference room 20 minutes early, since I was the only one there, I took a seat and played with the apps on my iPhone.    The conference room phone rang but I was not ready to start the meeting so I let it ring and continued playing with my iPhone.  About 10 minutes later, the conference room phone rang again and this time I answered the call.  It was the folks from Sydney, we exchanged pleasantries and I let them know that I was the only one on my side of the call.  I then sat down and continued playing with the apps on my iPhone.

One of our Vice President’s entered the conference room, where I was, and asked, “Is this video conference?”  I looked up from my iPhone and replied, “I don’t think so.”  On the phone could I hear, “Hi guys can you see us,”  the Vice President walks over to the LCD flatscreen and turns it on.  To my surprise, the entire team in Sydney Australia were on video conference watching me the whole time…for 20 minutes, while I was in the room, they could see me but, at the time, I could not see them.

Yeah, that was embarrassing.
