Batman Arkham Asylum

Last Tuesday, I purchased “Batman – Arkham Asylum” for the Sony PS3 game console.  Anyone who is a fan of the Batman® character will truly enjoy this game.  The storyline is good, as Batman  must fight his way through and throughout Arkham Asylum to stop his arch-nemesis Joker from unleashing his unholy plan.  The characters appear to be true to form and what is even cooler is that the voices of characters are the same from the “Batman – Animated Series”.  Now, I have only been playing this game for a week…only completing 58% of the storyline but it is very addictive as the cinematics sequences stay true to the grit of the stories we are familiar with.

Batman’s gadgets are cool and while you start out with the standard batarangs and grappler, there are other pieces of equipment that you will be able to access as you progress through the game.  You will find “Detective Mode” extremely useful.

There are games within the game as you are challenged by the Riddler’s perplexing riddles and puzzles.  Okay, I have said enough and risk a “Spoiler Alert” warning if I continue to tell you more about the game.  But to be totally honest, Joker steals the show (not unusual…right?).

So, go and scrape up that loose change and get the game or consider yourself a loser.
